Avalara requires both the Ship-to address and the Ship-from (Origin) address for every transaction.

  • For Item Type documents, the Origin address is determined by the Warehouse address. Please ensure that the warehouse from which the goods are shipped has a complete and accurate address.

  • For Service Type documents, the Origin address is taken from the Company address defined in SAP, under the General tab within Company Details. See below

Make sure all address information is complete and properly validated.
